Complete Dartmouth Invitational Results
The Sacred Heart men's golf team wrapped up play at the Dartmouth Invitational at the Hanover Country Club Monday afternoon, finishing 9th among 12 teams. Johnson & Wales University came away with the team title finishing 25 strokes ahead of host Dartmouth.
Sophomore Tom Campbell (Wall, NJ) was the Pioneers top-golfer with a 54 hole score of 232. Campbell fired a 77 and 72 on Sunday but came back with an 83 on Monday to fall out of the top-10 and finish tied for 21st.
Freshman Matthew Belizze (North Salem, NY), competing in his first collegiate event, finished tied for 25th with a combined score of 234. Belizze shot a pair of 76 rounds on day one and hit 82 on Monday.
Johnson & Wales' Adam Scrimenti came away with the individual title with a one stroke victory over Dartmouth's Jamie Wallace. Scrimenti fired a 70 and 73 on Sunday and a two-under 69 today to earn the title.
The Pioneers return to the links on the weekend of September 24th and 25th when they take part in the Central Connecticut Invitational in New Britain.
