FAIRFIELD, Conn. (November 5, 2007) - Sacred Heart redshirt-freshman quarterback Dale Fink (Swansea, IL) was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week Monday afternoon. Fink has won the award four times this season.

Fink threw for 222 yards and three touchdowns on 25-of-47 passing in Sacred Heart's setback at Central Connecticut State. After not being intercepted on Saturday, the rookie quarterback has only been picked off five times this year and has tossed a league-leading 20 touchdowns. He is completing 63.3 percent of his passes this season and boasts the conference's third-best passer efficiency rating at 187.4.
