Women's Hoops Announces 13th Annual Stop, Pop and Drop Tournament

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University women's basketball team will be hosting the 13th Annual Stop, Pop, & Drop 3-on-3 Tournament on Sunday, June 4, at 9 a.m. The tournament, held in the Leavey Center on the SCU campus, includes three divisions: Men's Competitive, Men's Recreational and Women's Open. The cost of the tournament is $50 per team if paid in advance, or $75 at the door. Each player will receive a tournament t-shirt and each team is guaranteed at least four games. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each division. The event will be overseen by current team members as well as the coaching staff. "This is one our program's favorite annual fundraisers and we hope to have another wonderful turnout this year," head coach Michelle Bento-Jackson said. "This event continues to give friends of the program, the Santa Clara community and fans of the game of basketball an opportunity to become more familiar with our program in a fun and competitive environment."
