Men's Water Polo Weekly Notes

Senior Josh Early of the Santa Clara men's water polo team was named the WWPA Player of the Week. Early earned this award for his play this weekend in the Convergence Classic. In leading the team to a 4-0 record, Early came off the bench to record 12 goals, an assist, and a steal. In the one-goal game against Brown on Sunday, Early tied his season high with four goals to go along with an assist. He also notched hat tricks against Pomona and Cal Lutheran. Early is the second Bronco to win this award this year. Tommy Hendrickson was named the Player of the Week two weeks ago.

The Broncos have also been climbing the rankings, climbing two spots to #18. Santa Clara also knocked Brown out of the rankings after beating them this weekend. Brown was previously tied with the Broncos at the #20 spot.
