Recap |  Final Stats

Cameron Rast, on game: "The game had a number of momentum swifts tonight, but the guys kept their composure. I was happy to see us come out in the second half and look for the goal. We worked hard throughout the half and that effort paid off at the end."

Rast, on goal line clearances and saves: "We were under pressure at times tonight, but the guys did not panic. We have enough maturity on this team to come through in pressure situations and you saw that tonight."

Rast, looking ahead to Saturday: "We know that Bobby Clarke (Notre Dame's head coach) will have his team ready. They come from a good conference and they have played a lot of good opponents this season so we know that it will be a strong test for us. We are looking forward to playing them and being at home for the game."

Matt Hatzke, on goal: "Matt Marquess served a nice ball from the wing and I saw Sean Danzeiser jump to get a head on it. I just reacted quickly and I was able to pick out the corner and finish."

Hatzke, on home field advantage: "One of our goals coming into the season was to get a high seed so that we could get more than just one game at home in the postseason. We had a great crowd tonight and that helped us get through the game and Saturday against Notre Dame, we are expecting a lot of support also. We are excited to be able to play at home again."

Peter Lowry, on game: "Tonight was a typical playoff game. There were great chances for both teams and a lot of attacking. You have to give them credit for pushing and getting back in the game, but we reacted well when they tied it up and had a good second half. I am proud of our effort tonight."

Lowry, on Stephen McCarthy's game-winning goal: "We work a lot on set pieces and we had just missed on some earlier in the half. I was just trying to send a ball in behind their defense and I was hoping that one of our big guys would get on the end of it. Stephen made a great run and had a great finish."
