Recap |  Final Stats

Head coach Cameron Rast, on game: "We played a very good game today. They came out hard because they had everything on the line, but we did a good job of controlling play and creating a lot of scoring opportunities. I was happy with the performance and we need to keep this up as we head into the postseason."

Rast, on goals: "We scored two very good goals. Peter (Lowry) hit a great pass to Kellen (Wantulok) for the first goal and Kellen had an excellent finish. Peter made the second goal happen also with a good ball wide for Brian (Martin). Ross (Smith) played well overall today and his finish of Brian's cross was perfect. I am happy for him."

Rast, on becoming first team to go unbeaten in WCC double round robin: "It has been a great league campaign for us. For us to be able to go through the conference unbeaten is a testament to the guys and their ability to play at a high level every game."

Rast, on unbeaten streak: "We got tested early on in the season against Brown and they beat us. But we learned a lot from that game and now we know that we need to work hard and perform in every game. I think that we have done a good job of being ready to play in every match since that game."

Rast, on NCAA Tournament prospects: "You always want to be playing your best soccer heading into the tournament and I believe that we are doing that. The team really believes in itself right now and we all have high expectations for the NCAA Tournament. We had a great run last year in the postseason (reaching the quarterfinals) and the core of that team is back so we want to play in the College Cup."

Rast, on possible seeding: "We took care of the things that we can control. We won our conference to get the automatic bid and we have won all the games in front of us at the end of the year. Now we have to wait and see how the bracket plays out."
