RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's golf team concluded play in the 2007 Callaway Golf Invitational at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., turning in a final round combined score of 294 to take 11th place. Garrett Logan led the Broncos Tuesday with a final round of 69, while Scott Travers matched his second round 74 to finish as the Broncos leader tied for 21st with a three-round total of 220.

After cutting six strokes off his first round score of 79, Logan cut four more off his second round to come in with a 69 in his final round, the best individual round of the tournament for Santa Clara. Alex Bon also managed to trim three strokes off his second round to finish with a 77 Tuesday.

But the rest of the pack was unable to beat their early-round performances, as Scott Travers came in with a 74, Jimmy Cacho with 74, and Blair Myers at 78. As a team, the Broncos shot a final combined round of 294, just three strokes behind their second round of 291, which was also their best of the tournament.

Next week, the Broncos will participate in the USF Triumph at Pauma Valley Country Club in San Diego, Calif.
