2009: CAA Football Academic All-Conference Team... Third Team All-CAA Football selection at linebacker... A mainstay at linebacker... Collected a season career-best 94 tackles, finishing second in that category for the second-straight year... Started the year strong with seven tackles and a forced fumble in the win at Duke (all seven were solo stops)... Followed that up the next week by matching his then-career-high with 11 tackles in the win at Delaware... In the Maine win, contributed 10 tackles, 2.0 TFL and a sack... Returned an interception 70 yards versus Villanova, that set-up the Spiders' tying TD at 14-14 (that was his sixth career INT and his longest career return)... Also had an interception in the Massachusetts victory... Established a new career-high with 13 tackles in the NCAA Quarterfinals versus Appalachian State... In two career playoff games against ASU (2008 Qtrs. & 2009 Qtrs.), Weldon has amassed 24 tackles, 5.0 TFL and one sack).

2008: CAA Football Academic All-Conference Team... The converted DB had a breakout season and started seven games late in the year after an injury to Collin McConaghy... Finished second on the team in tackles (92)... Had a career game in the Spiders' win at Appalachian State in the NCAA Quarterfinals setting career-highs in tackles (11), TFL (four) and sacks (one)... Has played in all 30 games the last two years.

2007: Saw action in all 14 games, backing up at defensive back and seeing time on special teams units... Collected 20 tackles (11 solo) with a career-high seven stops in the Stony Brook win... Intercepted his first career pass pass in the Rhode Island win and returned it 44 yards for a TD... Recovered a fumble in the William & Mary win.

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Was a three-year letterman in football, four-year letterwinner in football and earned one letter in track & field... Served as a captain his senior season... Earned First Team All-League honors as a junior and senior... Picked up First Team All-District honors as a junior and senior... Selected to the Second Team All-State squad as a junior and was an Honorable Mention All-State selection as a senior... Holds the school record for single-game interceptions (3), single-season interceptions (7) and single-game PAT's (8).
