2008: Played in all 16 games and started six times late in the season after Tyler Sullivan's injury... Finished fifth on the team in tackles with 72 stops, including eight for loss and the first 3.5 sacks of his career... Also picked off two passes, highlighted by a 63-yard INT return at Virginia... Posted his career-highs of 14 tackles and 1.5 sacks in last year's win at UMass.

2007: Started the first three games of the season at linebacker before suffering a season-ending broken foot... Was a backup QB on the roster before switching to LB following his true freshman season.

2006: Redshirted.

High School: Was a three-year letterwinner in football and has earned four letters in basketball... Served as captain of the football and basketball team as a senior... Earned Second Team All-Conference and All-County selections as a quarterback his junior and senior seasons... Was a First Team All-Conference and All-County selection as a defensive back during his junior and senior seasons... Won First Team All-Conference and All-County awards as a wide receiver his sophomore year... Averaged over 20 points per game as a senior in basketball and posted a season-high of 38 points in a game... Threw for more than 2,000 yards combined over the past two seasons at quarterback and rushed for more than 1,000 combined in each of those two seasons.
