His lone miss inside 34 yards was a blocked 26-yarder at Towson - that was his first career miss inside 34 yards (16-for-17)... Made good on a clutch 37-yarder, his second of two FGs, in the Spiders' win over No. 23 Villanova on Homecoming. 2006: Howard excelled as a true-freshman kicker, finishing the season 11-for-13 in field goal attempts and a perfect 34-for-34 on extra points... Scored 64 points, which ranked as the third-highest single-season total for kickers at Richmond...Howard was one of two kickers in the league to be perfect on PAT's... Booted his career-long FG of 45 yards on Homecoming versus James Madison... The freshman was spotless in the 13-0 win at Duke, kicking a pair of field goals and converting Richmond's extra point... He kicked all eight extra points in the VMI game -- tied for the best single-game performance at Richmond... He went six-for-six on PAT's and drilled two field goals, including a 42-yarder versus Bucknell... Was called on late in the season to punt. High School: Earned two letters in football as a junior and senior, while picking up three letters in soccer at Hermitage... Earned First Team All-District as well as Second Team All-Region and All-Metro kicking honors as a junior... Was named a First Team All-District kicker and punter as a senior...
