J.J. Elmer heads into his second season at Penn State hoping to earn playing time with Penn State's midfielders. A talented native of Philadelphia suburb West Chester, Elmer is one of a large class of sophomores who will be counted on to increase their contributions to the Penn State cause.

2007:Elmer did not see any action in 2007.

HIGH SCHOOL/PERSONAL:
Elmer was a two-sport star at Henderson, lettering for three years in football and four in lacrosse. He led Henderson with 30 goals and 37 assists in 2006. Elmer is the son of Jeff and Linda Elmer. He has a brother, Nick, and a sister, Carly. Elmer is a marketing major at Penn State.
