With two strong collegiate cross country campaigns under her belt, Young will once again look to put in the miles and make an impact in her third year as a Nittany Lion. After winning the team's MVP award in 2005, Young continued to contribute to the team scoring, finishing in the Penn State top seven throughout 2006. On the track, Young was a member of the Nittany Lion squad at the 2007 Outdoor Championships, competing in the 10,000-meters.
