PROVIDENCE COLLEGE WOMEN'S TRACK

ECAC Outdoor Championship at Princeton, N.J. - May 17, 2002

PRINCETON, N.J. -- The Providence College women's track team completed their first day of competition at the ECAC Outdoor Track Championship in Princeton, N.J. on May 17.

Junior Roisin McGettigan (Wicklow, Ireland) placed second in the 3,000 meter steeplechase in a personal best time of 10:08.73. She also qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track Championship.

In the 10,000 meters, senior Heather Cappello (Lockport, N.Y.) finished seventh in a time of 36:29.32.
