BOSTON, Mass. -- The Providence College men's and women's indoor track team competed at the IC4A and the ECAC Indoor Track Championship on March 4-5.

On the women's side, the Friars were led by graduate student Aine Hoban. She won the 5,000 on March 4 in a time of 16:26.32. Senior Ashley Jensen also ran the 5,000 and placed 21st in a time of 17:44.91.

The Friar women's distance medley relay team placed fourth in a time of 11:25.50.

The PC men's squad was paced by Martin Fagan who finished second in the 3000 in a time of 8:06.40. In the 1,000 meters, Richard Jones placed third in a time of 2:25.41.

The Friar men's squad finished 21st of 51 teams at the IC4A Championship and the women's team placed 20th of 48 teams at the ECAC Championship.
