Providence, R.I. - On Saturday, April 9, the Providence College tennis team traveled to Stony Brook, N.Y. to face the Bearcats of Binghamton and the host team Seawolves. The Friars were defeated in both matches, falling to Binghamton, 7-0, and to Stony Brook, 4-0. With the losses, Providence is now winless over its last four contests, and has been victorious in just one of its last eight matches.

Providence tennis is now to 3-8 on the spring season (9-9 overall). The Friars return to action on Tuesday, April 12, when they host Connecticut (4-11) at 3:30 p.m.
