The Providence College women's ice hockey team climbed three spots to No. 5 in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll and one spot to No. 6 this week in the U.S. College Hockey Online Poll. The top four teams in the USA Today/American Hockey Magazine Poll stayed the same this week while five through eight were reshuffled. Harvard, Minnesota-Duluth, Minnesota, Dartmouth held on to the top four spots. Wisconsin, New Hampshire and Saint Lawrence all fell one spot to No.'s 6, 7 and 8, respectively. In the USCHO.com Poll Minnesota-Duluth and Harvard switched places at the No. 1 and 2 spots, while three through five and eight through 10 stayed the same. Providence climbed to No. 6 after defeating now No. 7 New Hampshire in the HOCKEY EAST finals.
