PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The Providence College men's track team competed at the Penn Relays on Friday, April 29 in Philadelphia, Pa. The Friars' team of senior Liam Reale (Hospital, Ireland), freshman James Lourenco (West Warwick, R.I.), junior Richard Jones (Wellington, New Zealand) and freshman Max Smith (Dunedin, New Zealand) ran the distance medley relay in the college championship and finished ninth in a time of 9:37.42. The race was won by a team from Michigan in a time of 9:22.57.

The Friars will return to action on Sunday, May 1 at the Brown Invitational in Providence, R.I.
