STANFORD, Calif. -- Three Providence College track athletes competed over the weekend at the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, Calif.

On March 31, senior Martin Fagan (Mullingar, Ireland) ran the 10,000 meters and finished 21st in a time of 29:00.37 and qualified provisionally for the NCAAs.

The following day, sophomore Max Smith (Dunedin, New Zealand) ran an impressive race in the 1,500 meters as he finished second in a time of 3:41.27. With his time of 3:41.27, Smith qualified for the NCAA Regionals.

On the women's side, graduate student Aine Hoban (Wakefield, England) finished 14th in the 10,000 meters (33:44.22) on March 31 and qualified for the NCAAs.
