BOSTON, Mass. -- The Providence College men's indoor track team finished in fourth-place (40 points) at the Terrier Cup on Saturday, January 17 in Boston, Mass. The Friars were led by sophomore Martin Fagan (Mullingar, Ireland) and junior Liam Reale (Hospital, Ireland).

Fagan captured the mile run in a time of 4:08.61, while junior Dylan Wykes (Kingston, Ontario) placed second in a time of 4:09.55. In the 800 meters, Reale crossed the finished line first in a time of 1:50.39. The Friars also had two second-place finishes. Graduate student Adam Sutton (Preston, England) took second in the 3,000 meters in a time of 8:17.54, while freshman Darren Brown (Spring, Texas) was a second-place finisher in the 1,000 meters (2:28.82).

The University of Rhode Island captured the title with 93.50 points, while Maine (60 points) and Boston University (45 points) finished second and third, respectively.

The Friars return to competition on January 30-31 at the Terrier Invitational.
