BOSTON, MASS. - Three Friars competed in the New England Senior Championships held on Saturday, February 3 at Harvard University. Senior Annie Nemeth (Pittsburgh, Pa.) competed in the 200 yard IM and finished in 2:14.20, a qualifying time for the BIG EAST Championship. Sophomore Blair Flynn (Middletown, R.I.) competed in the 50 yard freestyle (26.06) and the 100 yard backstroke, recording a BIG EAST Championship qualifying time of 1:02.58. Freshman Matt Card (Bow, N.H.) also competed in the meet, swimming in the 100 yard freestyle and 200 yard IM, finishing in times of, 50.22 and 2:08.07, respectively. Members of the men's and women's swimming and diving teams will be competing in the BIG EAST Championship February 14-16 in East Meadow, N.Y.
