BROWN (4-3-2) - Brown enters Tuesday's game with a 4-3-2 mark overall and a 1-1 record in Ivy League action. In their most recent game, the Bears were defeated at Princeton, 3-2, on October 9. In Brown's other game versus a BIG EAST opponent this season, the Bears were defeated at Boston College, 3-1, on September 3. Brown's victory in Ivy League action was a 3-2 win over Columbia on October 2 ... The Bears have posted a 13-5-5 mark all-time versus the Friars ... Brown's most recent win over the Friars was a 2-0 victory in 2002 at Providence ... Senior forward Marcos Romaneiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil) leads the team in scoring (eight points) and assists (four) ... Senior Chris Gomez (Huntington Beach, Calif.) is the team's top goalkeeper. Gomez has played in all nine of the team's games and has posted a 4-3-2 record. He has made 40 saves and allowed 11 goals.

PROVIDENCE (0-9-0) - The Friars enter Tuesday's game versus cross-town rival Brown looking to earn their first win of the season. On Saturday, the Friars were defeated in double overtime, 1-0, by BIG EAST foe Georgetown at PC's Glay Field ... The Friars will be looking to earn their first win over the Bears since a 2-1 victory in 1993. Since 1993, Providence has earned two ties versus Brown, including a 2-2 draw last season at Brown. Six of the Friars' last seven losses to Brown have been by one goal ... Junior Eoin Lynch (Yarmouth, Maine) leads the Friars in scoring this season with three points (one goal and one assist) ... Senior Jeff Newman (Northboro, Mass.) and sophomore Chris Konopka (Toms River, N.J.) have shared the goalkeeping duties. In their most recent game, the goalies combined to make four stops versus Georgetown. Newman has a 1.73 goals against average and a .704 save percentage in five games. Konopka has played in five games and recorded a 2.22 goals against average and a .767 save percentage.
