Providence College Men's Lacrosse To Hold Free Coaches' Clinic Sponsored By Lax City
June 22, 2004 PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Free Coaches' Clinic - Presented by Providence College Men's Lacrosse
The Providence College men's lacrosse program will hold a free coaches' clinic for high school and youth coaches on Saturday, July 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The clinic is sponsored by Lax City and will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Slavin Center on the campus of Providence College in Providence, R.I. The coaches' clinic will cover: teaching concepts in mini game format; on ball/off ball, invert, slides and odd man situations; building from individual to team offense and defense, transition offense and defense, fundamental team defense, fundamental team offense, goalie play and face-off play. The also will be a "chalk talk" session in question and answer format.
