Providence College Athletics To Host Fundraising Nights In Boston and New York City
Sept. 21, 2007 PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Providence College Athletics will host two regional Sports Nights on Tuesday, October 9 in Boston, Mass. and Tuesday, October 16 in New York City to support the Friars Forever Athletic Fund. On October 9 from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., join Athletic Director Bob Driscoll, men's basketball Head Coach Tim Welsh, men's hockey coach Tim Army and women's hockey coach Bob Deraney for food and beverages as they help kick off another exciting year of Friar Athletics. Tickets are $100 per person, $85 for alumni who have graduated within the last five years. Seventy percent of each ticket can be used as a tax-deductible donation to the Friars Forever Athletic Fund. The Friars Forever Athletic Fund are unrestricted dollars that help support all 19 Division I sports at Providence College and give each student-athlete the best experience in the classroom and on the field of play.
