2000: Miles Dowiak improved in nearly every category during his sophomore campaign...started a career-high eight games while playing in 18...recorded career-highs with three goals, eight points and 16 shots...also had two assists on the season...had a stellar outing in a 4-3 win over Seton Hall (Sept. 24) in which he scored one goal and assisted on two others for a four-point performance...also scored a goal in the first game of the season against Bucknell (Sept. 1), as well as a win over Georgetown (Oct. 7). 1999: Played in 11 matches while earning two starts in his first season with Pittsburgh...scored the first goal of his career in the Panthers' 3-0 shutout over Robert Morris on Sept. 28...assisted the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Big East foe Villanova on Oct. 17...also recorded an assist versus California (Pa.) on Nov. 4...a University Scholar-Athlete and Big East Academic All-Star.
