Game Story

Pitt hosts Louisville for the first time since the 1993 season. The Cardinals are in their second year as a Big East member. The Panthers played at Louisville last year, dropping a 42-20 decision.

Pitt seeks its seventh victory on the year. The Panthers have won at least seven contests in five of the last six seasons. A victory would also snap a four-game losing streak for Pitt.

The Panthers are looking to avoid their first five-game losing streak since 2001. During Pitt's current four-game skid, three of those losses have been by 10 points or less.

The Louisville contest marks the final regular-season game of the year. Pitt will pay tribute to 18 seniors in the 2006 Heinz Field finale.
