Four Tigers Named Academic All-MPSF

Complete 2005 Academic All-MPSF Release

Woodland, Calif. - The Pacific men's volleyball team received four selections to the 2005 Academic All-MPSF team as the complete team was released on Monday, June 6. The Tigers' four selections, each of who were graduating seniors, were highlighted by the three-time selections of Mike Gawlik (Addison, Ill.) and Mauricio Brizuela (Asuncion, Paraguay). Also named was Bryson Metz (Aiea, Hawaii), for the second time, and Brad Alexander (Highlands Ranch, Col.), for his first time.

To be eligible for this award, athletes must: have a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average, must be at least a sophomore academically, have completed one full academic year at his institution prior to the season for which the award is being received, and have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competition in the student-athlete's respective sport.
