Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific Tigers begin an eight-game homestand that will close the 2006 regular season for Pacific. Earlier in the week, Spurgeon threw four innings of scoreless relief, allowing Pacific to comeback from a 7-3 deficit to defeat Sacramento State, 8-7, on Tuesday, May 9.

This week the Tigers face Washington and pitcher of the year candidate Tim Lincecum (11-3, 2.06 ERA). The three-game series with the Huskies is the beginning of five consecutive games against Pac-10 opponents.
