2008 (Junior):
After completing the basketball season, Casey stepped in for 13 innings of work in 10 appearances for the Tigers. He finished out the year with a 1-2 record and his longest outing also proved to be what he needed in the win column after his scoreless four-inning appearance in relief gave the Tigers a 10-6 come-from-behind victory over San Francisco on April 29. Showing off some of his flexibility in different situations, Casey also started his first game of the season against Stanford on Mar. 24. For Coach Thomason in basketball, Neimeyer had one of the highest shooting percentages on the team, sinking 46 of 85 shots and averaged 4.1 points per game.
2007 (Sophomore):
Neimeyer once again made his presence felt on the diamond following the men's basketball season, appearing in 11 contests. Casey allowed 10 runs in 10 innings, surrendering 15 hits and one walk. He recorded four strikeouts and finished the season with a 1-1 record and one save. Casey's longest outing of the season was a two-inning showing against Stanford on May 18. Neimeyer allowed one run on two hits in the Tigers' 13-7 victory. Five of Casey's 10 appearances resulted in scoreless outings. On the basketball court for the Tigers, Casey averaged 2.1 points and 1.7 rebounds.
2006 (Freshman):
After joining the baseball squad in late March, Neimeyer made five appearances on the mound. Casey allowed a combined three runs on eight hits in 9.1 innings. Neimeyer's best outing came against the Stanford Cardinal on May 24, as he held the Cardinal scoreless for 2.2 innings in the Tigers' 14-8 loss.
High School:
Neimeyer graduated from Woodland Christian High School in Woodland, Calif. in 2005. Neimeyer was a combined 8-5 over his final two seasons as a Cardinal. In 2005, Neimeyer finished with a 2.36 ERA, allowing 17 earned runs in 50.1 innings. Casey struck out 89 batters as a senior and allowed just 23 walks. Following the 2005 season, Casey was named the All-Central Valley Christian League (CVCL) Co-MVP. He also earned a spot on the All-Area Second Team. He was even more impressive as a junior, posting a 1.84 ERA and recording 113 K's in 53.0 innings. Casey was also named to the All-CVCL First Team, after both his junior and sophomore seasons.
Personal:
Casey Neimeyer is the son of Tim and Gayle Neimeyer. He has one sister, Emily (25). In his fourth year at Pacific, Casey is a sport sciences major. Casey is also playing for the Pacific men's basketball team and will join the baseball team following the conclusion of the basketball season.
