Stanford, Calif. - The Stanford volleyball team kicked off spring competition with two matches last week, and topped two Bay Area opponents.

On Apr. 25, Stanford battled Pacific at Maples Pavilion and topped the Tigers in two games, 30-18, 30-26. Last week, on May 2, Stanford and Santa Clara met at the Leavey Center in Santa Clara, and the Cardinal bested the Broncos in two games, 30-19, 30-22.

The Cardinal will host its Booster Barbecue on Thursday, May 10 at Jimmy V's Café on the Stanford campus. The barbecue starts at 5 p.m. and will be followed by the Stanford vs. Alumni All-Stars game at 6 p.m. The RSVP form for the barbecue is available here.
