BERKELEY, Calif. - California senior Jonathan Balzer was selected first team Academic All-Pac-10 for cross country. The honor is the first for the Placerville, Calif., product who is majoring in civil engineering.

Six Golden Bear harriers received honorable mention recognition. The men's picks were senior Carlos Carballo and sophomore Eric Roberts, while the women's choices were sophomore Bridget Duffy, juniors Lindsey Maclise and Abby Parker and sophomore Maja Ruznic.
