AS A JUNIOR (2000): Earned second team All-American honors on balance beam with a 9.80 at the NCAA Championships... Averaged a 9.705 on beam, best on the team... Had the team's second best average on vault (9.805) and third best on floor (9.786)... Was named Most Consistent Gymnast on Beam and Floor by the coaching staff... Tied her career-high on beam with a 9.875 at the NCAA Region 1 Championships to help the Beavers to their first NCAA appearance in four years... Scored a 9.80 or better a total of four times... While she earned All-American honors on beam, her strongest event as a junior was vault... Scored 9.90 or better five times, including a career-best 9.95 at the Shanico Inn-vitational... Was ranked among the nation's top 20 vaulters for the majority of the season... Won the event at California (9.85) and against Utah (9.90)... Had only one vault below 9.775 all season... Competed on floor in 11 meets and never scored below 9.70... Just missed tying her career-high when she scored a 9.875 against Utah.

AS A SOPHOMORE (1999): Was named the team's most consistent floor performer by the coaches... Had the team's third-best averages on floor (9.725) and vault (9.692)... Competed on vault and beam in every meet and was in the floor lineup in every meet but two (sat out the event due to a minor ankle problem at the time)... Her best floor score was at the Pacific-10 Championships when she turned in a 9.875... Had perhaps the best overall meet of her collegiate career in a dual meet with Utah, when she turned in career-highs on beam (9.875) and vault (9.85) and also scored a 9.85 on floor... Scored 9.85 on beam in three other meets, including the Pac-10 and NCAA Region 1 Championships.

(1998): Took a year's leave of absence.

AS A FRESHMAN (1997): Tied for first with a career-high 9.85 on beam in a meet at Michigan... Also scored a career-high 9.90 on floor at Michigan... Best vaulting effort of the season came with a 9.65 twice, at the Shanico Inn-vitational and in a four-way meet at Arizona... Averaged a 9.60 on floor, 9.560 on beam and 9.558 on vault.

PRE-OREGON STATE: Was an elite gymnast from 1990-93... Retired briefly from the sport in 1993 but returned in August of 1996... Two-time USA Junior National vault champion... Graduated from Western Mennonite HS in 1996.

PERSONAL: Born in Roseburg, Oregon... Daughter of Linda and Rolyn Severin... Has two brothers and a sister.
