PREVIOUS COACHING EXPERIENCE: (1998-01): Heath Alexander started his coaching career by working three years as JV boys basketball coach and varsity assistant at Marist High School in Eugene, OR. He also spent two years as the head golf coach at Marist. (2000-01): Alexander served two years as head coach of the Oregon Selects summer girls basketball team based in Eugene, OR. (2001-Present): Alexander joined the Oregon State athletic staff in September of 2001 as Director of Basketball Operations. Alexander's duties included video editing and on campus recruiting. He was hired as an assistant coach in July of 2002. Alexander works on the court with the Beaver power forwards and post players. Off the court, he takes care of all equipment orders and scheduling for in-house facilities. His role in recruiting includes contacts and evaluations and general correspondence.

RELATED BASKETBALL EXPERIENCE: (1995-98): Alexander served as head manager for the University of Oregon men's basketball program for four years while attending the U of O. Alexander conducted film exchange, helped arrange travel, game scheduling, film breakdown and was in charge of a five person managerial staff. He worked under Duck head coaches Jerry Green and Ernie Kent.

PREP ATHLETIC CAREER: Alexander was a three-sport athlete while attending Prospect High School in Prospect, OR. He lettered in football, basketball and baseball.

PERSONAL: Alexander and his wife Andrea are the proud parents of two sons, Reece (3) and newborn Nolan.

EDUCATION: Alexander was a 1993 graduate of Prospect (OR) High School. He graduated from University of Oregon in 1998 with a bachelors of art degree in exercise and movement science and a minor in biology.
