Former Oregon State pitcher Dallas Buck rejoins the Oregon State program for the 2013 season.

Buck, a right-handed starter during his tenure with the program, comes back to Oregon State after a professional career that spanned five seasons with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds organizations, culminating in 2011. He reached as high as Double-A in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

He was a third-round draft selection by the Diamondbacks in 2006 after lettering for the Beavers from 2004-06. While with Oregon State, he ammassed a 28-10 overall record, which places him in a tie for second in school history for wins. His 272 career strikeouts are good for third while his 326 2/3 innings enters the 2013 season fourth.

He also added seven saves during his career.

A native of Newberg, Ore., he became the third player in school history to be named an All-American in two different seasons. He earned the distinction in 2005 and 2006 while going a combined 24-4.
