Men's Tennis Posts Two Singles Upsets In 5-2 Loss To #16 Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- The 16th ranked Virginia Cavaliers defeated Old Dominion for their ninth consecutive win against an opponent from the commonwealth back on February 24th. Despite the loss, the Monarch men's tennis captured two big upsets by #94 Harel Srugo and Henrique Cancado. Srugo used only two sets to defeate #31 Rylan Rizza at No. 1 singles, while Cancado edged out #92 Doug Stewart, 7-6, 3-6, 6-0.
