BOSTON, Mass. -- The Lady Monarch sailors struggled on the first day of The Victorian Coffee Urn Regatta and are in 14th place going into Sunday. Katrina Williams and Kristen Cumming sailed to 15th place in A division after just six races and Stephanie Roble and Elyssa Albert sailed to 10th place in B division after just four races. Both boats managed two top ten finishes.

For Williams and Roble, this is the last event before heading to Seattle, Washington next weekend for the ICSA Singlehanded National Championship.

In A division, Williams and Cumming were able to finish six races, finishing with a high of 9th place. The pair tallied 77 points on the first day, 22 points outside of the top ten.

In B division, Roble and Albert were only able to complete four races. They finished with 40 points, 12 points behind the top five boats.

The team tallied 117 total points, for a 14th place finish on day one, but still have a lot of racing on Sunday. They are 23 points out of the top ten going into the final day.
