GENEVA, NY -The Old Dominion sailing team finished 5th at The America Trophy, held off the waters of Hobart and William Smith College in Geneva, NY, with 151 points. St. Mary's College, the winner of the two-day event, along with Hobart and William Smith and King's Point qualify for the ICSA Dinghy Championship in Cascade Locks, OR, June 2-4. Jack Kerr (Redmond, WA), Cara Gibbons-Neff (Annapolis, MD) and Wade Schon (Millington, NJ) finished 7th in A division for the Monarchs with 95 points, while the team of Anna Tunnicliffe (Perrysburg, OH), Christabelle Fernandez (Virginia Beach, VA) and Michael Smith (Newport News, VA) finished 3rd in B division with 56 points. The America Trophy marks the end of the regular season for the Monarchs, before they return to action in late May for the ICSA Women's Championship, held at Cascade Locks, OR.
