Monarchs 5-6 After First Day of Bob Bavier Team Race

CHARLESTON, SC -The Old Dominion sailing team finished 5-6 during the first day of the Bob Bavier Team Race, held at Charleston, SC. In the first round, ODU finished 4-3, defeating the College of Charleston, Harvard, South Florida and Stanford and losing to Boston College, Dartmouth and St. Mary's College. In the second round, the Monarchs finished 1-3, defeating St. Mary's College and dropping races to Boston College, South Florida and Stanford. The event continues on Sunday.
