ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio volleyball team will host its fourth annual Spring Fling Saturday at Tailgreat Park from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Members of the Athens community as well as the campus community are encouraged to attend.

The main event of the spring fling will be a 4-on-4 grass tournament composed of 16 teams. There is a $40 entry fee for each team with all of the benefits going to Relay for Life in the fight against cancer. The winning team will be rewarded with numerous big prizes.

The spring fling will feature entertainment for all ages. There will be games and activities for the kids highlighted by a prize-filled "VolleyCat Club" skills challenge. Food and live music will also be a part of the festivities with numerous volleyball nets set up for recreational fun.

For more information on the spring fling, contact event coordinator Jason Notoras at jn531803@ohio.edu.

The spring fling will come on the heels of Ohio Volleyball's participation in the Relay for Life walk Friday and Saturday. The Bobcats raised $1,100 though the contributions of BT Concrete, Hocking Valley Concrete, Inc. and numerous other individual donors.
