ATHENS, Ohio – Tickets for the Ohio men’s basketball game versus Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament in Nashville are sold out. All 550 tickets allotted to Ohio University were dispersed through a lottery drawing held Tuesday morning.

“We are excited that so many people were interested in purchasing tickets to go to Nashville to support the team,” Director of Ticket Operations Lori Moorman said. “Our goal was to create as system that provided access to tickets for all Bobcats fans while rewarding the loyalty of our season ticket holders and student body.”

Ohio, as a participating school, was allotted an initial 350 tickets and then utilized the option to take an additional 200 for a total of 550 tickets. All tickets for the event are $50 per session and each person was allowed purchase two. Approximately 800 fans were interested in the tickets and all 550 were used, giving the Bobcats a strong fan base in Nashville.

Ohio’s first round match-up with Florida will be televised live on CBS affiliates in Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, and Charleston/Huntington (W. Va.).

The Ohio Sports Network radio broadcast will begin at 11:30 a.m. EST, with tip-off scheduled for 12:25 p.m.
