ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio men’s basketball team, fresh off an 85-71 victory over Ball State on Saturday, will play an important five-game stretch with four television appearances over the next two weeks. The Bobcats (13-7, 8-4 in the Mid-American Conference) currently stand in a second-place tie with Bowling Green in the MAC’s East Division.

First, Ohio faces a Miami RedHawk team it destroyed 85-61 in the Convocation Center earlier this season. The heated rivalry will be televised by Fox Sports Ohio and Empire Sports Network at 7:30 p.m. Monday from Millett Hall in Oxford, Ohio.

After the Bobcats host Central Michigan at 7 p.m. on Feb. 13, they face Marshall Feb. 16 at 4 p.m. on ESPN. The national television appearance will be Ohio’s first since 1999 when it squared off against then-No. 1 Cincinnati in a midnight game on ESPN.

The Bobcats follow the game in Huntington, W. Va., with a Feb. 20 contest at North Carolina on ESPN2. Tip-off against the Tar Heels is set for 7:30 p.m.

Ohio then returns to MAC action on Feb. 23 by hosting Kent State in the Convocation Center. The 2 p.m. game against the conference front-runner will be televised by the Ohio Sports Network.

The Bobcats will then conclude the regular season with a 7 p.m. home contest against Toledo on Feb. 27 and a March 2 game against Bowling Green. The 3 p.m. home finale against the Falcons could carry significant MAC tournament seeding implications.
