Named the MAC Freshman of the Year at the conclusion of the season, the second Bobcat to earn the award (Robert Sismondo, 1996) ... Led the team and finished second in the MAC with a .369 batting average ... Also led the Bobcats in home runs (8), doubles (19), total bases (114), and slugging (.610) ... Finished fourth in Ohio single season history with 19 doubles ... His 19 doubles led the MAC as did his .610 slugging percentage ... Hit .393 in MAC games ...
