OXFORD, Ohio - As the second day of competing came to an end, defending men's champions Eastern Michigan found themselves in the lead, whileBall State had taken over first-place on the women's side. Friday included the completion of the women's heptathlon and the men's decathlon, along with the running of the sprint preliminaries. After the 400-meter hurdle prelims, Junior Jericka Duncan (Aurora) finds herself with the second-fastest time going into the finals Saturday with a time of 1:00.70.

The championship meet will conclude on Saturday.
