COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Ohio men's and women's track and field teams will be in action Friday and Saturday at the 18th annual Jesse Owens Classic in Columbus.

The meet is set to get underway at 4 p.m. Friday, with events scheduled to continue through 10 p.m. Finals will be run on Saturday, with the events again getting underway at 4 p.m.

This year's Classic is the largest in meet history, with over 1,000 athletes participating. Among the teams at the meet will be MAC opponents Akron, Central Michigan, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), and Toledo.

Several club teams will also take part in the meet, including Team USA, which will provide even more stiff competition for the Bobcats.
