ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio women's swimming and diving team travels to Eastern Michigan this week for the 2007 MAC Championships.

The championships start on Wednesday, Feb. 14 and end on Saturday, Feb. 17.

Last time at the MACs
The Ohio women's swimming and diving team finished third at last year's MAC Championships with 510.5 points. Ohio's seven total event wins was the most of any school.

Regular season wrap up
Ohio's women swim team finished the regular season with a 10-3 record and 6-2 mark in the MAC. Freshman Lindsay Hamilton set new school records in the one-meter and three-meter diving events. Hamilton earned a score of 282.30 in the one-meter diving event. The former record of 271.40 was set by Amy Butler in 1986. In the three-meter diving event, Hamilton's 316.65 finish broke Danielle Biggs record score of 288.70 set in 1995.

Emily Wylam, Ashley Marion and Ilse Petersen each earned MAC Swimmer of the Week honors.
