Newark, Del. - The Villanova women's tennis team was able to get its first dual match win over the University of Delaware Blue Hens. After a weather cancellation at Fordham last week, the Wildcats were ready to play; winning five out of their six singles matches despite having lost all three doubles matches.

In the number two spot Leighann Reilly pulled out a tough three set win over Amanda Campbell, having to win 10 games in the third set to clinch the win. The remaining wins went in straight sets, and didn't allow opponents more than three games in a set.

Villanova's next dual match is Tuesday, October 3 at LaSalle.
