Orlando, Fla. - The Villanova Wildcats (4-2) dropped only one set in a sweep of the singles matches as they defeated Mt. St. Mary's (5-5) 6-1 on Sunday, Mar. 5.

Jaclyn Williamson, Lyndsey Lostritto, and Lindsey Puchyr each won easily at the nos. 3, 5, and 6 spots. Williamson defeated MSM's Kaitlin Hallahan 6-2, 6-2, Lostritto won 6-1, 6-1 over Ashley Wentzel, and Puchyr took a 6-1, 6-2 decision from Alicia Patterson.

The only set the Mount took came in the second singles match, when Katie Muething won the second, 6-2. Villanova's Leighann Reilly went on to win the match 6-3, 2-6, 1-0.

MSM took the double point, winning the second and third doubles matches. Candice Carlin and Melissa Reed notched the 'Cats' only doubles win, an 8-1 decision over Jen Isoue and Muething.
