Softball to Participate in Carol Weil and City Six Tournaments This Fall :: The Wildcats are guaranteed to play 10 games in the two tournaments.

VILLANOVA, PA. - Villanova softball head coach Maria DiBernardi has announced additional dates for the fall season. The Wildcats will participate in the Carol Weil Tournament on Sept. 27 and 28 in Allentown, Pa., and the City Six Tournament on Oct. 4 and 5 in Marcus Hook, Pa.

In the Carol Weil Tournament, the Wildcats are scheduled to play Fordham at 8:30, Delaware at noon and Cabrini at 3:45. Saturday's results will determine how many games Villanova will play on Sunday, but they are guaranteed to play at least two.

The City Six Tournament schedule is more defined. Villanova is scheduled to play three games on Saturday and two games on Sunday. The 'Cats begin the weekend on Field #2 at 9:00 a.m. against Temple, and will return to the same field for a 1:00 p.m. game against Drexel.

Villanova finishes the day on Field #1 at 3:00 p.m. for a game against La Salle.

The Wildcats then play on Field #1 twice on Sunday. They are scheduled for games against St. Joseph's at 9:00 a.m. and Pennsylvania at 11:00 a.m.
