Senior Forward Megan Farmer Featured in Friday's Edition of New York Newsday

Sept. 22, 2006

VILLANOVA, Pa. - Wildcats senior forward Megan Farmer (Middle Island, N.Y./Longwood) was profiled in today's edition of the New York Newsday. Farmer was featured in a weekly Hometown Heroes column that runs each Friday.

Farmer is one of four Villanova players from Long Island and was the first player that 10th-year head coach Ann Clifton recruited from the area. Farmer is the lone senior among the group of players from Long Island, as the other three are freshmen who have made their collegiate debuts this season.

The Wildcats are currently 9-0 on the season and have established the best start in program history.
