VILLANOVA, PA. - On Monday, Sept. 8th, Villanova University women's soccer players Michelle Biehl (Southampton, Pa./ Archbishop Wood HS) and Chrissy Dolan (New Hope, Pa./ Pennbury HS) received Big East Conference weekly honors. Biehl was named the Big East Conference's Defensive Player of the Week, while Dolan earned Goalkeeper of the Week accolades.

The 23rd ranked Wildcats won the Summit Hospitality Invitational with wins over Old Dominion (1-0) and North Carolina State (3-0) this past weekend in Cary, N.C. Villanova is currently 4-0-0 on the year and have yet to be scored upon this season.

Biehl and Dolan helped the `Cats hold Old Dominion scoreless on just eight shots on Friday, Sept. 5th. Two days later on Sunday, Sept. 7th, they held an NC State team that had averaged 24.3 shots and 3.4 goals per game coming into the contest to no goals on just eight shots. Dolan saved nine shots in two games over the weekend. In addition to stifling the opposing offenses, Biehl added an assist against the Wolfpack on Sunday.
