PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Women's rowing team competed in the Head of the Ohio in Pittsburgh, Pa. this past weekend. This was the first regatta of the year for the Wildcats and they made an impression on the scores garnering a first and third.

Senior Christina Baumgardner led the open pairs team to a first place finish with a time of 16:43.009. Third place went to the open eights team finishing 15:46.164 with senior Meg Walsh leading the way. Sophomore Elizabeth Jackson was a part of the club eights boat to cross the finish line in sixth place with a time of 16:08.119. Jessica Gregg, another sophomore, led the boat finishing at 17:50.078 in the lightweight fours which was good enough for fourth.

The Wildcats will take part in the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia on October 15, 2005.
